Hey everyone- I've been tasked with changing the primary host of our iMail server with one of the virtual hosts currently on the same server. I've read the KB and List Archives on how to change the OHN and how to change the OHN IPs, but I can't find anything specific to this procedure.
What concerns me most is the locations of the root directories of these two hosts. The originally installed current Primary host resides at C:\IMail, while the host it is to be swapped with is at C:\IMail\newhost. While the iMail Admin GUI temptingly provides a way to change the Primary Host name and its path, (IMail Administrator->localhost->General tab) am I setting myself up for a disaster if the primary host doesn't reside at C:\IMail? It just seems too simple to be true...
