The problem all started fall of 2003 when I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.05. Then I even tried adding the two hotfixes for 8.05, but the frequency of the SMTPD32 service stopping increased. Since it appeared I never had this problem with V8.04 I down graded from V8.05 to V8.04. For a while that seem to fix the issue. Then the problem reared its ugly head again. I've tried things like, disabling all anti-spam features, taking out tabs in the HOSTS file, Defraging, and other things that don't come to mind. All of these things were recommended by Ipswitch, which I thought was still working on this issue. NOW. My question is, has any one that has these same symptoms/problems/issues, upgraded whether it's on the same server or a new server to version 8.11? If so, has the problems gone away?
