I provide email & listservs for non-profits (pro-bono) and purchased
Imail 1-1/2 years ago because I needed a reliable Windows-based mail
server.

Now, I have the option of switching over to Linux w/ WHM & Cpanel, which
includes FREE in the package:
        - mail server (EXIM)
        - listserv (MailMan)
        - Spam (SpamAssassin)
        - Anti-Virus (Clam AV)
        - webmail (Horde, Squirrelmail & Neomail),
        - and multiple domain/email account management, etc.

I have been relatively satisfied with Imail on my Windows server (and
the support of people on this email list -- especially people like R.
Scott Perry, Len Conrad & Sanford Whiteman, et al).

Now, since I am no longer restricted to Windows, I am wondering what (if
any) advantages Imail has over this Linux-based mail server considering
that Imail version upgrades & Declude AV/spam, although great products,
require additional investments. Or is it that Imail is the best Windows
alternative when Unix/Linux are not an option?

Your comments & experiences (w/ WHM, CPanel & Imail) are appreciated.

Respectfully,

Yby

PS: I only need to provide basic, RELIABLE email service w/ POP/webmail,
listservs, A/V, & Spam filtering for multiple domains. These other
Imail features are not critical for my needs (finger, IMAP, LDAP, & Web
Calendaring)
