This is not a new problem, we suffered from this for a while and
actually had to setup another server to relay mail to AOL until
they could unblock (whitelist) our IP.

Their blocking usually shows up in the logs as 554-(RLY:B1)...

You need to setup a feedback loop with AOL to resolve this in
the future. You can find their contacts at:
http://postmaster.info.aol.com/contact/index.html

While the hold time may be long - at least they seem responsive
once you get through.

We actually have had to let our customers know that if they want
their forwarding to AOL and they report any of this as spam to AOL
that we retain the right to cancel their forwarding. So far that
has helped alot.
