We ran into a similar issue where SSL connections going through a MS ISA proxy server were causing lots of problems. It turned out to be a problem with IE and how it communicated with the ISA proxy. Microsoft fixed the problem with an IE patch about 2 or 3 months ago.
Patch IE with all critical patches and the problem should go away. ~Brian -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rick Davidson Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 11:05 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] SSL Web Mail and MS ISA Server Has anybody encountered an issue connecting to Imail web messaging with SSL enabled through MS ISA server? It takes 4 minutes to login if the ISA proxy server is enabled, if you bypass the proxy server it connects immediately, ts definately a MS issue. We run our Imail peers in a DMZ between ISA and our border routers, we installed a second nic connected to the private network in the Imail systems to bypass ISA server. Any fixes besides the work around above other than removing ISA (which i would like to do)?
