I want to be able to use our IMAIL server to act as a gateway for mail bound for an exchange server, while continuing processing mail with Imail for other domains.
Currently we have Imail running with one IP-ed domain and several virtual IP-less domains. These all use the same spam settings. This part will remain the same. If I wanted to use the same spam settings, I think I need to just add an MX record to the domain in question to point to the IMAIL box. The IMAIL box would have an entry in Hosts file to point to Exchange Box... Does that sound like all I need? If however I wanted different spam settings, I would need another IP-ed domain on Imail box and configure the spam settings there. I'd point the MX to a host at this new IP and still have entry in Hosts file for Exchange box. How would I configure the domain within Imail without using the domain name?
