When I upgrade to Imail 8.1 and add all the patches, my SMTP server stops and needs to be restarted on a regular basis. I've been told the patches will fix it, but after each patch the same thing happens. I end up back on 8.05.
This is a known issue with some versions of IMail (unrelated to Declude).
The thread listed in my subject indicates my problem could be f-prot.
I would recommend switching to the 32-bit version of F-Prot (fpcmd.exe, which is included with the Windows version of F-Prot). However, if everything was working fine with IMail v8.05, this isn't likely going to fix the problem (a small percentage of servers do have serious problems running multiple 16-bit processes, to the point where the OS is slow to respond to TCP/IP connections).
But service stops are, AFAIK, related strictly to IMail.
