ok, now the fpcmd.exe had been working ( instead of f-prot.exe) for two days
but the
problem is still happenning, now the popups windows says that the programs
failing are fpcmd.exe and smtp32.exe. The failure doesn't happen when the
service smtp is restarted every 12 hours.

It has been discussed on the Declude Virus list in depth about the NTVDM
issue.

Yes, if you are having this problem, you should switch to the Windows
version of F-Prot and use the fpcmd.exe file instead.
