Hello All,

We are going to setup a backup email server of our own to handle any server
outages or server reboots. What is everyone else using for this? I hate to
buy another IMail license to just run a backup server. We are still a small
company and just need this to store and forward mail if our primary email
server is down.

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Grant Griffith

Grant,

I am in the process of doing the same thing. Our imailserver has frequent and intermittant problems receiving external email, so I am forced to run a backup server so I am not caught with our users unable to get mail. I am setting up a Linux server using sendmail which is very stable but difficult to configure in relation to imail but I can not take the chance that I am away for a week and imail ceases to receive mail.

Bob
