When I try 'telnet 61.8.3.192 25' or 'telnet 192.168.1.4 25' I get: connect failed. There is no mail server at those addresses.Sandy,
Here we go again. Here are the logs from my mailbox trying to send the same message:
05:28 00:04 SMTP-(00000CA0) MX connect fail "61.8.3.192"
05:28 00:04 SMTP-(00000CA0) Trying dev.impart.com.au (1)

05:28 00:04 SMTP-(00000CA0) finished D:\IMail\spool\Q8c52004401465fb6.SMD

When I goto dnsstuff.com and do a DNS lookup for the MX of webmcq.com.au I get 2 addresses for primx.webmcq.com.au (203.192.146.144) and secmx.webmcq.com.au (203.202.1.194) which are not the addresses shown in your log.
Why is your server trying to connect to these wrong addresses?
And after noticing that your address is from impart.com.au, why is your server retrying with a connection to dev.impart.com.au after failing to connect with webmcq.com.au??
