I am running Imail 8.11. I have always sent out my newsletters using my own cgi scripts, which I know isn't practical as they went out individually, especially now that my lists have gotten very large (about 30,000 subscribers).
Can I use Imail's 'Mailing List' features to send a newsletter? If I make it a moderated list and allow only myself to post, instead of an interactive list, will that work as a newsletter? How long will it take Imail on a new dedicated Windows 2003 server to send such a list (with about 30,000 subscribers)? Can I manually add all of my current subscribers to the list? I have four different newsletters. Does Imail allow people to subscribe and unsubscribe from multiple mailing lists at the same time? If not, if I write a script that allows people to choose which list to subscribe or unsubscribe from, can I have my script send an email to the list to then do it? Thanks for any insight. I am a little confused about how this works...
