maybe...copy the message, including headers, to a text file named D123456.SMD, and
create an envelope file named Q123456.SMD
(filenames must match except for first letter) using one of IMails envelope files as a
guide, and drop them into the spool folder.
Queue manager should pick it up again. You'll have to experiment to see what tests
are actually performed again on such a message.

I haven't tried it but it's worth an experiment.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Requeue message

Hi all,

Is there a way to re-queue messages after they've been received?

The reason behind this is the following:

Let's say I get a false positive spam that end up in the spam box. I then
"tweak" the rule that caught it and want to validate the change with the
same message....Is there a way to simply re-queue the original message?

I'm currently running Imail 8.11

Thanks
