Hi Don,

I'm using both mxGuard and Declude with Imail. Declude has much more flexibility as far as detecting spam. It's also much more expensive and worth the money. I use mxGuard because it's a very affordable way to inject virus filtering into the stream. I run mxGuard first and use it to call 3 different virus scanners then pass it on to Declude for spam filtering and then back to Imail for delivery. It's a solution that works well for me but I'm a fairly small shop. We probably receive around 20,000 emails a day. Under that load everything seems to be running smoothly, can't say how the combination would perform under heavier loading.

Subject: [IMail Forum] MXGuard and Declude?

Anyone out there using both MXGuard and Declude to protect their customers?
Wondering if this is possible and how well the combination works.

Regards,

-Don
