Beware, there's no "free lunch".

The connector shim that Ipswitch has licensed or purchased and is modifying to work 
with Imail IMAP server has per-client licensing fees.

I would expect the Imail connector to also have per-user fees.

If you only need anti-virus and spam blocking, it is very cost-effective to front-end 
Exchange Servers with Imail/Declude running in store and forward/gateway mode.

If you really need calendaring, then stay with exchange.

No matter how "good" the Ipswitch connector may eventually be, if my clients really 
want Exchange I give them exchange, not an almost-working-clone which will always be 
problematic.

"Oh, you mean I don't get Outlook Web Access with that too!" is just one of the tech 
support challenges you are setting yourself up for if you think you can replace 
Exchange with a shim.
