My first message probably got filtered by most users, so I've replaced the words with dashes so it will get through...

IMail does remove the tags before checking the message for phrases.  For example, I just ran your message through and it was flagged due to a phrase.  Here's the log line:

06:16 07:43 SMTP(3269004c04d4e5ea) matched phrase [------- enlar--ment]

Subject: [IMail Forum] Improvement to Spam Filtering

As time goes on, spammers are learning how to get around spam filters.  Currently of the email I receive, about 90% is spam.

If Imail removed all HTML tags <>, prior to performing the phrase checking, then this would remove at least 70% more spam than it does now.
