I think if you rely on phrase filters and smtp control access (as I do),
then you are seeing an increase. I open the some of the spam to try and find
phrases I can filter out but those spammers are getting sneakier - the
emails are short and to the point - and many don't use phrases we can safely
filter. I downloaded the phraselist on IPSwitch's site and have since added
many of my own phrases. It stops quite a bit and I get very, very few false
positives... but we are pretty low volume compared to most of the list
folks.

I know this might not be a very difficult problem to figure out, but I just
want to see if I'm missing something obvious.  My spam filters in Imail are
increasingly missing more and more spam.  Is this just something that could
be resolved by updating my phrase list or blacklist?  Because I haven't
really been on top of things on our email server lately (being the lone IT
guy between two branches is kind of a lot to handle sometimes).

If this is probably the case, where can I download the most recent spam
phrase list and URL blacklist?
