Possibly not. I just tried it via my SBC dsl connection's servers. I went in to Outlook and turned smtp auth on, set to the usual 'use the same settings' bit. Then I sent a message to a freemail account. It arrived a few seconds later. No gaurantee that this will work with Cox, but my general assumption would be that the extra info xmitted for the auth will simply be ignored. -- --Matt Robertson-- MSB Designs, Inc.
