Then you need to move your defense off Imail, block port 25, and set up a defensive MX box.


Well, we've got a 3ghz machine running our mail server now, and even it
seems to labor when things get ugly.

yep, many IMGate users add IMGate so they can get back their (often very expensive) Imail box from the spammers.


I've seen an IMGate box reject 70K/hour for days on end (1.5 million/day) with no impact on legit traffic flow.
