Well,  yes,  of  course.  Anytime  you  put  some form of restriction on
accessing  a  service  you're going to decrease the ease of use. This is
true  for  a lock on your front door, a password on your system, as well
as  the  ability to send e-mail claiming to be from your-domain.foo from
random IP addresses.
