I missed this thread as I was on vacation. MacFee Enterprise should have a Web Shield that is set up to screen all emails.
WebShield, if they have fixed the problems with it, should be relatively straightforward to set up. You should be able to run it on the IMail server, or another server. The biggest problem that they have had recently is that they forgot to include the IP address of the remote server in the Received: header, making spammers nearly anonymous. But they may have since fixed that.
But this guy was talking about a trick to get the on-access scanner to scan E-mails. That's a dangerous thing to do for many people, but if you know the drawbacks and can accept them, it may be worth experimenting with.
