About McAfee WebShield and SMTP gateway: Do not use! It is at best unreliable. You can put it on the same server, you just have to change the port numbers for outbound on the McAfee and Inbound on the Imail server. If you use it, you cannot use AUTH for SMTP. It has no way of checking if it is a valid sender through authentication...it just looks at the from field...great for spammers who can spoof your domain. I had nothing but problems with it, and then decided to get smart. I use Declude, which can use the McAfee Command Line Scanner to scan email. I then let Imail handle the email and McAfee handle the Anti-Virus. It just kills me to see anti-virus companies getting in to the email and web proxying business, in which they have no experience in.
