1) the mx record for pdvcorp.com needs to be imail.pacificdatavision.com
DNS isn't (that) rigid.
The data field of an MX record can by _any_ FQDN, as long as the FQDN has an A record that resolves to the IP of an MTA.
In the Imail domain alias situation, there is no need for nor should there ever be any CNAMEs / aliases used in MX data fields (iow, MX data field must be a canonical hostname).
