ns2.todhunter.com has security vulnerability with unrestricted zone transfers:
Len, if you believe that someone has a security vulnerability that is designed for gathering potentially sensitive information:
no surprise, second guess my posts here, and if you had a clue what I was talking about, you'd be embarrassed at how stupid and ignorant you look with you post total BS like this. But like, like our shrub-in-chief, you're too stupid and ideological to know how stupid you are.
Many, many people consider zone transfers to be a security risk. Until you state otherwise, I still am assuming that you are referring to the generic implied risk involved with zone transfers.
You are indeed correct that I now have no clue as to what you are talking about. But if I have no clue, then about 99% of the people on this list have no clue, either.
Take your advice and "data sensitivity" and self-proclaimed DNS expertise and shove it.
I'm a bit in the dark here, too -- where should I shove it?
btw, did you ever discover the widely known, multi-year (maybe a decade by now) brokenness of nslookup that you, "DNS guru", said you had never encountered, and that causes nslookup to be deprecated as a DNS query tool?
FYI, I don't proclaim to be an expert at DNS. I do proclaim to have a very strong background in DNS, however, and I do claim to have written most of a DNS website that hovers in the top 3 listings (of 8+ million) at Google.
As for nslookup, it still provides completely accurate results for me.
