I'd chime in too about how satisfied I am with their product, but it seems
that others are doing a good enough job.

You want complaints... I have one or two, which actually are not directly
related to Declude.

1) Their web store could be a little more informative. For example I
accidentally "ordered" two trial versions of Declude because nowhere did it
mention that there would be mail to follow in 24 hours with the manually
generated activation key. I ordered the first one, expecting a link on the
order completed page or in the order completed mail, and none existed. I
assumed a glitch and ordered a second one with the same results. To counter
that flaw though, I received a call 5 minutes later from Declude explaining
that they will rush one of the manually generated keys to me and apologized
for the confusion. Pretty cool if you ask me!

2) I abhor the website and it's really not kept up to date. For example, on
the download page there is this:

Page last Updated: 28 Feb 2004.
Latest Version: 1.75/1.78 (Release/Beta)

Yet there are links to only 1.75 and 1.79.

1.79 contains the SPF tests (which I had to painfully find after searching
200 some odd archived list messages). There is no mention of this test in
the "manual" what-so-ever. After reading the Declude.JunkMail mailing list
for awhile, I have noticed that there are a few "undocumented" test and/or
features for Declude JunkMail that are not listed in the "manual."

But yes.... Declude JunkMail rocks and I'd happily and confidently recommend
it to anyone.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Declude JunkMail

I am looking at anti-spam and content management software for our Imail
server. I am leaning towards Declude's product at the moment. We
currently use an old version of Mail Marshal and want to upgrade. The
only products I have experience with are Mail Marshal on Imail and
Sybari Spam Manager on Exchange.

Does anyone have any strong feeling one way or the other about Declude?
I can read their website for the positives but has anyone had any major
problems with their product? Their support? Software updates?

Thanks.
