I haven't used it, and I'm sure it works well enough, but when it comes to cost plus capability, there are certainly better options elsewhere.  One thing that many don't bother to mention is gateway spam and virus blocking services, probably because one mechanic generally doesn't tell another mechanic to take their vehicle to a dealership to be fixed :) There are certain economies of scale involved in outsourcing such things.  The larger you are, the less these economies of scale have to offer you, although for those that are here, there is a certain learning curve advantage to those that operate such services as a business that you are unlikely to catch up to, and trying to learn new tricks and keeping up with your system requires a time investment that is only fair to include in the TCO.  There is also a big difference in results when you compare a product capable of blocking 80% - 90% of the spam to a service capable of blocking in excess of 99.5% of the spam. When we started blocking spam and viruses for our customers this was done more so because they were complaining, getting infected, and it bothered myself as well.  We purchased Declude about 2 1/2 years ago, but I paid little attention to it until things got really bad last year and whatever I was doing to my config didn't seem to be enough.  With hard work and the benefit of related experience, we got very good at what we did...and then I decided to make a business of it.  I am certainly not alone as there are plenty of others like myself out there offering similar services with various levels of capability.  My only recommendation would be to stay away from the very largest of them because they can definitely be bested with little effort, and have been frequently by others including myself. I don't want to discourage you from trying Declude or another product yourself, there is of course a free trial that they will provide you with so that you can try it first hand, but from a pure business standpoint, I believe that the best argument is made for using a service except when you are either very large or interested in running your own service and don't want to resell.
