We are running Imail 8.13 using Declude 1.81 for virus scanning with F-Prot as the scan engine and since the upgrade to Imail 8.13 the Queue Manager has been using between 50-85% of the processor on this machine. The server is a Compaq DL360 with Dual 1.0GHz Pentium III Processors, 1024MB RAM and 10K RPM SCSI Hard Drives in a RAID array. I have tried changing the configuration settings in the Queue manager to lower the number of threads from the default of 30 down to 20 but it hasn’t really helped. The server usually handles about 40,000-80,000 messages per day and had no problems prior to the upgrade to 8.13. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this same issue and if anyone knew of a workaround other than upgrading the server to a new machine with faster processors.

Any help would be appreciated…
