I am very very upset to hear that Ipswitch will be discontinuing it's stand-alone Imail server. I am using it for several thousand student accounts, several hundred part-time faculty accounts, and also some accounts and listservs for a few other domains we are hosting. The ability to use SQL for my backend database is great for this. I don’t need any collaboration features for these accounts. I love the simple e-mail server that I already have and I’m using Declude on the antivirus side. The price is also right. I will probably be trying to figure out how to switch over to an open-source linux e-mail server for when our current service agreement expires.
