Just joined the list yesterday. I did look at the archives and I see that many people are thinking about moving away from iMail. I am currently running iMail 7.15 does it make sense for me to upgrade to the latest version 8.0? Ipswitch is no longer selling this version but CDW still has it on their website. The reason I'm asking is because we've got huge spam problems and a very small budget. Any suggestions? Should I just get declude? Are there any significant differences between version 8 and 7.15? Any other alternatives?

Thanks in advanced,

I'd recommend the upgrade. IMail 8.x is stable and will hold you for some time. It includes an improved queue manager and some nice anti-spam features.

Of course, I'd also recoomend our $99 mxGuard add-on for an effective anti-spam and anti-virus solution.
