I don't completely disagree, but at some point you can huff and puff or you can buy another Nic and solve the problem. Your call. Buying a good server class 3com Nic (preferably not faster than 100Base-T) will solve the problem according to many people who had this problem in the past. For some reason Imail seems to stress Nics in a way that almost no other app does. It is very hard to say if there is a problem with the Imail code; it logically seems unlikely as I wouldn't expect them to write to the Nic on a very low level. Still, it is strange that I haven't heard of this problem with other apps. Ipswitch certainly has taken the position there is nothing in their code that should cause the problem, so it is the fault of the Nic. I would like to see them more proactive on this issue, but there are lots of things I'd like to see Ipswitch do at this point...
