I heard only good responses about FProt. After visiting their website i was really
surprised about their pricing models.
Compared to the mainstream anti virus software like sophos, symantec and others, F-Prot is
more or less for free and no hidden fees.
How can this be possible?
Volume, and lack of greed, primarily.
Everyone is surprised by their pricing. They don't have hard-core salespeople; they don't have salespeople that lie; they don't have a confusing website so you'll be tempted to talk to their hard-code salespeople; they don't have dozens of different versions to confuse you into talking to their hard-core salespeople. It's about as simple and straightforward as can be, for AV that works on multiple platforms.
