All,
Let just face it...This is a LOSE-LOSE situation. We're being forced into
ICS and there's no turning back. We all have seen the different Mail
Servers and some of us are testing them as we speak. I give 110% customer
service each and every day, I don't sugar coat anything and I'm honest.
This will come back and BITE Ipswitch in the A$$, there dishonesty and
deceit will make them go down in history like a bad DOT COM!
I'm sure they're lurking because Jill's canned messages are only buying time
for them to come up with a RETENTION PLAN. "Oops, we got caught with our
hands in your wallet, how can we back track to get out of this one!" And if
they don't come up with a better way of doing business, they will salute us
with the middle finger and send us on our way ("Take it or leave it!")....
We are IPSWITCH's support. They should be paying us the SA revenue.
I have decided to move-on and I only read these and respond cause it's like
being in a bad soap opera.

Forgive me for saying so, but any company that does business on a
case-by-case basis scares me. My guess is that Ipswitch will not work with
you unless you are going to make them a substantial amount of cash. In
other words, I'm thinking if you are not planning on purchasing a large
number of IMail standalones, the SA to go with them and maybe even an
agreement to upgrade to ICS at some point down the road, Ipswitch is going
to tell you "don't let the door hit you in the ass".
Reason I believe this is due to the fact I was in somewhat of a bantering
session over this exact thing the other day and the Ipswitch person involved
only wanted to know how much business I've done with Ipswitch. This, in my
mind, supports my theory.
