Hi Keith,

We redirect mostly all folder to a network share. You can manage the folders 
with the
policy editor on your catalog server. If you're familiar with the registry, you 
can change
the values directly. See under 
HKU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Look folder the folders "User shell folders" and "Shell Folders"

It's true, if the network goes away and your folder are pointing to a network 
share,
windows will act a bit confused.

To avoid this, you should change the values described above under 
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT
So far i remember, windows will look there, if the defined path is no more 
available.
