Hi All,

I believe that we have made it clear on a number of occasions that we intend
to enhance and support the core IMail product as it is central to ICS.
Features like SPF will absolutely be added to IMail and will be available to
those users who have IMail Service Agreements.

Best regards,
Jill

Note that she didn't say when but from what I've heard all of the issues
with SPF have not been totally fixed yet and is why it's not yet fully
supported by some MTA and anti-spam products at this time. This is just
something that I heard someone say while I was inquiring about future
support for it in another unnamed product I was considering, which may or
may not be 100% factual. While there are already many entities that are
already using SPF I am not in any position to verify or convinced that it's
the ultimate answer right now today. It sure would be great if there was any
kind of a standard that could really put a stop to the majority of spammers.

Happy Holidays,
Ted

This is what spf is trying to accomplish along with a few other things...
Haven't heard if Imail plans to directly implement it into their software
but Declude is supposed to work with spf already from my understanding.

LS,

Is it possible to block mail (spam) when the domain name and the IP address
do not match.

In the example below, IP 213.75.172.12 does not match to hotmail.com and
should be blocked / rejected.

Kenneth
