Hey Len,

I agree you have a great solution, but we chose to go with the Barracuda as
it allows users to set their own setting and view their quarantined email
via a web administration area. Basically we chose the Barracuda for the
many features it has that IMGate does not have. I do agree that you have a
great solutions, but the features Barracuda has is what made the decision
for our company.

Basically if you have money to throw at fighting spam, the Barracuda is well
worth the expense. However smaller companies can get some of those features
using the IMGate solution.

Thanks,

Yep, many IMGate users have observed the same. Imail+friends, already not
inexpensive, simply don't scale for many people, even with $1000's of the
best hardware and weeks/months of tweaking.

sendmail is not IMail, not pop, not imap, not webmail. That switchover
would be very expensive in hours and support and extremely visible to your
users.

You could have achieved, as many others have, the same rescue of Imail by
installing IMGate for free, or pay $600 to have it installed.

Most people have been able to minimize their dependence on proprietary
hardware, the opposite of your choice.

>saved me from switching mail servers.

Most people here, having spent $1000's on Imail+friends, would not be
feeling very "saved" when spending another $13K to get a mail system that
worked.
