Yes there is in Windows 2000 server, it’s in the Local Security Settings, in the same screen where you setup the server to lockout and account after x number of tries. It’s called “Reset account lockout counter after” where you can set the time interval. I haven’t played with Windows 2003 long enough to worry about that yet as we don’t have any up and running yet.

Hi,

 

I was wondering if there was anyway to make so Domain admin’s can unlock an account that has been suspended by too many password tries.  Right now I have to go into the windows interface and do it.
