It reboots with C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe /r /t 15 /c
D:\IMail\spool\tmp5.tmp

Could it be because it is also being passed the tmp file path to the
message? Try that from a command line (with the D:\Imail\spool\tmp5.tmp
"argument" that it is receiving at the end of the command).

Switched the alias parameters to C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe /r /t 15
/c.
Still nothing.
The log shows:
12:02 16:46 SMTP-(8d1a00040138aa12) [x] toprog
C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe /r /t 15 /c D:\IMail\spool\tmp5.tmp

Still wondering!

Thanks
Dave

Because program aliases need to be an executable not a bat file. the program
alias does not know anything about the command shell (dos) interpreter.
