Thanks, I'm going to need to do that then. I spent a few hours trying to
get this to work but I'm going to have to call it quits for now. I learned
a lot but there are compounded issues.

One thing I've learned is with version 8.13 and 8.14, if you delete the
domain folders listed in imail\openLDAP\bin\openldap-data per these
instructions (http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20041025-DM04.htm) then LDAP
won't start. You need at least the primary account folder in there, even if
it's empty.

I also got really good at uninstalling, reinstalling, and various iMail
registry changes. I could reinstall and with a fresh build, I could start
LDAP. I tried to switch back and forth between two registry trees to
isolate the issue but it wasn't that easy. It's a combination of the
registry and files on disk that need to be in sync. Sometimes I could get
it working but once I ran "Init LDAP", it would start failing again.

I'll give them a call tomorrow then.

Thanks,
