We ran Realtek cards for years with no trouble, but when it started, there was no fixing it with any NIC we tried until IPSwitch recommended we spring for the 3COM.
We were told they use 3com server cards on all their testbed machines.

At the time we were running IMail 7.

We've run on Intel Pro NICs for years with no problem...we skipped IMail 7, though...went from 6 to 8.

Don,

We solved the same problem by investing about $150 in a 3com Server rated NIC. It seems IMail doesn't like RealTek or Intel.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Web Mail

Hello,

I am running Imail 7.07 with Windows 2000.  I have a problem with web mail is down and I get a TCP -1 and then comes back up. Nothing was change on the server.

The only I see in the log file around the time it acting is this.

20050125 152304 Web Error [E] TCP accept error.  10004 (consecutive_accept_error_count=1 on IWebMsg Normal listen socket 488).

20050125 152304 Info - Normal TCP listener exiting    .

Did anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Thank you,

Don
