Hearing that SmarterMail was able to handle 200,000 mails in 24 hours and that the SNMP sensors indicated it used less resources is really good news. This is exactly the kind of input I was seeking.

A small ColdFusion application send 200'000 mails in 24 hours to both candidates. SNMP sensors reported CPU-load, Memory load and other data to a log server. SmarterMail used less of CPU-load, Memory, etc...
