Hi all,

What determines an 'orphaned file?' I am trying to cleanup but can't seem to find them. SpoolViewer.exe shows me:

# E-mails being received right now: 11
# E-mails being delivered right now: 4 [4 recips]
# E-mails awaiting re-tries: 126 [128 recips]
# E-mails awaiting first delivery attempt: 0 [0 recips]
# Overflow E-mails: 0 [0 recips]
# Orphaned E-mails: 77

My spool directory shows ten matched Q*.SMD & D*.SMD pairs. I have deleted those .SMD files without a matching counterpart. Still, SpoolViewer shows 77 orphans. What am I missing? [Is it a coincidence that my Declude spam folder (C:\IMail\spool\spam) contains 77 matched .SMD files?]

Secondly, how can there be 126 messages awaiting retry if there are only 10 SMD files in my spool? Is this a 'list thing?'

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Dave
