Being a web designer/application developer, I can honestly say that most of those FireFox anomalies are due to poor coding practices.  ForeFox is a bit stricter in its DTD enforcement than IE...and more in line with W3C standards.  I haven't seen any cases where FireFox would not display good code properly, however there are lots of sites out there with bad code...most of them from developers who obviously never tested in Netscape/FireFox.

So, I use both browsers as needed now...and test my sites in both on Windows PCs, and IE and Safari on Mac.

From what I've seen, IE on Mac has far more problems than any other browser with rendering good HTML code properly.

Yah, don't use Firefox.  I've given up on it.  There are HTML anomalies, and my experience with their support has been meager.  Too bad.  I was hoping.  Maybe they'll get it together.
