Looking at the logs of another server here, looks like Verizon is already doing just that.
Verizon is opening another connection back to the IP that connected to them

not likely, they would be verifying at the MX for the @sender.domain, not the sending IP


 and attempting to
  verify the MAIL FROM.

that's SAV of [EMAIL PROTECTED], not [EMAIL PROTECTED]
