It is my understanding the Domain Alias would work better. The way I had set it works. So if it was broke, I was not going to change it. Currently, I am going starting to remove the old domain from the server and outlook properties.

I was planning on setting up forwarding from all of the todhunter accounts to the new cruzaninc accounts. MX and A records have already been set up for the new domain, pointing to mail.todhunter.com.
