I’ve been told by someone in our department who monitors spam on another server to tread carefully when choosing to delete anything. I thought that deleting deceptive URLs would be safe, though. Any that I have seen come in with this kind of feature have always been spam. I guess you are saying that IMail potentially could delete legitimate mail this way?

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Content Filtering question

Is deleting emails that Imail thinks has a deceptive URL is safe?

We’re wondering if we can refine one of the Content Filtering features in IMail 8.15. We would like to delete all email with deceptive URLs. But we would like to insert an x-header in emails with some of the other HTML features (invalid tag, script tag, etc.).

Is this possible? Or is it all or nothing?

Thanks for any help,
