The specific layout you're describing would be a gross waste of storage and bandwidth. Instead, set up subdomains such as postfix.example.com and imail.example.com and create aliases on each side for the other side's mailbox users to route outgoing mail efficiently. Incoming mail will be routed via mappings on the MX.
