Here ya go. Keep in mind I wrote this quickly specifically for my own server. I’ve removed anything related to my own domain so you’ll have to edit the file and add your own system variables.
You’ll need perl and I use the nt user database so I have chngpass.exe to verify userids on a win32 server. Chngpass requires an nt domain name and that your password policies on the domain do not allow a single digit password.
If you want to skip the password authentication for testing all together, just # out the “&check_pass;” line.

Can you post the APP here. It would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if a client adds a sender to the White List, does it effect all users?

Behalf Of Will We have a few thousand clients and tagging the subject line gets very messy, especially when you have to start responding to and dealing with false positives. If you’re like me and want to reduce the amount of tedium in your mail administration, I would suggest only using header tags, then providing instructions on how to setup a mail rule.
I chose to use header tags and took it a step further by developing a cgi app that would modify the users mail rules by simply checking a box and clicking apply. It’s very important to also provide an easy way for users to white list addresses. This is your timesaver as a mail administrator because you are putting it in your customers hands. Our customers have really taken to the app and it has been our best solution thus far.

no matter the number of
clients you will have to inform them of your spam policy at some point. I would
suggest modifying subject lines to start and let the clients sort it how they
want. Unfortunately, we have over 600 users we would have to do this for. K,thanks..I'll keep looking at other options. Depending on their preference we set the rules accordingly. Some clients want the folder some want the header/subject mod. Tim Cook wrote:
