Title: Imail to Exchange
That's easy.  First, in Exchange, set up a new email for everyone (recipient policy) that is something like @exch.yourdomain.com.  This just enables Exchange to accept mail for your users at this address.  Second, put a hosts file entry on the Imail box that points to exch.yourdomain.com and use the exchange server's IP address.  Last, in Imail Administrator, forward each user's email to [EMAIL PROTECTED].

This is how we currently have our domain set up.  We get Imail/Declude for scanning and then on to Exchange.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Imail to Exchange

Greetings,
I regret that I will be shortly moving away from Imail. I've got no problems with the product, but our new IT director loves Exchange, so that will be the way we are going. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the MANY MANY contributors of this list for the excellent help, tips, insight that they've shared, both on and off list, with me. There is a wealth of knowledge here that I will sorely miss.

I do have one last question that needs to be answered and, hopefully, someone knows a graceful way to do this. On our move to Exchange, we will still have the Imail box running for awhile, but we want ALL mail immediately forwarded (no storage) to the new Exchange server. Could someone, please, walk me through the procedure… especially if they have tested this. I appreciate all the help you can give. Thanks again, everyone.

                 Jim
