How does activation work? What happens if on a Saturday night at 3am server crashes and requires mail admin to setup imail on new hardware?

Anyone can upgrade to 8.2 from any version. In order to receive an activation key, you will need to have an active service
agreement.

Have a good one,
Christian

What is the upgrade path. We are still using 8.14. Do we need to upgrade to 8.15 prior to 8.2?

Mike

Hi everybody

Ipswitch has released IMail Server 8.20. If you have an active service agreement, this upgrade is free for you. If you do not have
an active service agreement, you can purchase one and receive the upgrade to the latest version.

Highlights include SSL for SMTP, POP and IMAP, improvements to anti-spam, and support for SPF (Sender Policy Framework) to reduce
the incidence of Phishing attacks.

In addition, Ipswitch Collaboration Suite release 2 is now available. This release includes all the IMail 8.20 improvements plus
premium anti-spam filtering and improvements to the shared calendars and contacts functionality. IMail Server customers get special
pricing on Ipswitch Collaboration Suite - see www.ipswitch.com for more info.
