Geza - Great information. I have the exact setup you are referring to. I will migrate away from the "forward to address" and start
using the "insert x-header". But how
do I set up a related rule in the active rules page? I must be overlooking
this 'tab'.
Thanks in advance!

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] White List
Can someone explain why I can place domains in the whitelist.txt file ( for all domains ), yet emails still appear to be caught up in the spam filters?

Chris Mechsner
I had the same problem until I called Imail tech support and we figured out, that in my case the cause of why the white list and active rules were ignored was, that I had selected "forward to address" with [EMAIL PROTECTED] next to it in all my spam filtering options in the "Action to be taken" window , instead of "insert x-header" and a Related Rule in the active rules page.
So, when Imail considered a message to be spam, it forwarded to the spamfilter's designated email address immediately and therefore ignored any other active rules or even the white list.
if you use the options of "insert x-header", the final routes of messages will be decided by the white list and the active rules if any.
