The IMAP Sent Folder problem may be related to the two different clients- Could it be that the default 'Sent' folder in Webmail is different from the default 'Sent Items' folder in Outlook which is different from the default used in Mac Mail? Are the Sent folders being saved locally on the client or to an IMAP folder on the IMail server? Did the user try to add or subscribe to the missing folder in their client?
